Our treatment adds radiofrequency (RF) energy, which delivers controlled heat deep into the skin. We prioritize your comfort. Before the procedure begins, we apply a high-quality topical numbing cream to the treatment area to minimize any discomfort. Most patients do not describe the treatment as painful. You may feel a slight prickling sensation or a feeling of warmth as the radiofrequency energy is delivered, but it is generally very tolerable.

The number of sessions depends on your specific skin concerns and goals. For general skin rejuvenation or fine lines, we typically recommend a series of three sessions. For more significant concerns like acne scarring, 3 to 5 treatments are common. These sessions are usually spaced four weeks apart. We will create a personalized treatment plan for you during your complimentary skin analysis.

You may notice your skin looks tighter and more radiant within a few days, which is an initial effect from the skin contracting. Noticeable improvements in skin texture and tone typically begin to appear around 3-4 weeks after your first treatment. However, the most significant results appear over time as your body builds new collagen. Your skin will continue to improve for three to six months after your final session

RF Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure with very little downtime. Immediately after your appointment, it's normal for your skin to look and feel like you have a mild sunburn. This redness and sensitivity typically fade within 24 to 48 hours. Most patients return to their normal activities the following day and can wear makeup 24 hours after the procedure

Aftercare is simple and focused on protecting your skin. You will need to avoid direct sun exposure and use a high-quality sunscreen, as your skin will be more sensitive. We will also ask you to avoid harsh or irritating skin products, such as retinoids or vitamin C, for a few days. Using a gentle moisturizer is recommended, as your skin may feel dry or tight. We will provide you with detailed post-treatment instructions.

This treatment is not suitable for everyone. You should not have RF Microneedling if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active skin infection or cold sore in the treatment area, or have a pacemaker or metallic implants (due to the radiofrequency). It is also not recommended for individuals with certain autoimmune disorders, those who have used Isotretinoin (Accutane) recently, or those on anticoagulants.
